Terms of use

Last updated: 30 October 2026

In short: QuietTrust is free and passes your message to your circle as well as we can. It doesn't promise that anyone will answer and it isn't an emergency service. Use it kindly. Nothing here takes away your rights as a consumer.

1. Who we are

QuietTrust is made and published by Controlled Systems Group Limited, a company registered in England and Wales (company number 17118598), registered office 58 Broton Drive, Halstead, England, CO9 1HB. In these terms, "we" and "us" means that company. You can reach us at support@quietguard.io.

2. What QuietTrust is

QuietTrust is an app for a small circle of people who trust each other (up to 13, by invitation only). One person asks for help with one tap; the others' phones ring, and they can answer, call or come. It is not a messenger.

3. What QuietTrust is not

Please read this part carefully:

4. Age

You must be 16 or over to use QuietTrust.

5. How circles work

There is no admin. People are in a circle because they want to be, and they decide together:

6. Please don't

7. Reporting a problem

Use "Report a problem" in the app (on the circle screen), or email support@quietguard.io. We can't read sealed messages, so include what you want us to know. We read every report and act on it: for example, we can take a phone out of a circle or out of QuietTrust. If you disagree with what we did, reply to our answer and we'll look again.

8. Free

QuietTrust is free to download and use, with no ads and no subscriptions. We give you a personal, non-exclusive right to install and use it on phones you own or look after.

9. Updates

We may release updates through Google Play to fix problems or improve QuietTrust. If we ever stop offering QuietTrust, we'll say so in the app and on this website in good time.

10. Your privacy

What your circle shares is sealed between your phones. The privacy policy has the details.

11. Our responsibility to you

We will run QuietTrust with reasonable care and skill and carry your alerts as well as we can. Because delivery depends on phones, networks and services we don't control, and because QuietTrust isn't an emergency service, we don't promise that an alert will always arrive or be answered, and, as far as the law allows, we aren't responsible for what happens when it doesn't.

Nothing in these terms limits or excludes our responsibility where the law doesn't allow that, including for death or personal injury caused by our negligence, or for fraud. Nothing in these terms affects your legal rights as a consumer. If QuietTrust damages your device or other digital content because we didn't use reasonable care and skill, we will either repair the damage or pay you fair compensation.

12. Our names and marks

QuietGuard™, the Q mark and QuietTrust are ours. Please don't use them in a way that suggests something comes from us when it doesn't.

13. Changes to these terms

If we change these terms, we'll publish the new version here with a new date. If you don't agree with a change, you can leave your circle and uninstall QuietTrust at any time.

14. The law that applies

These terms are governed by the law of England and Wales. If you live in Scotland or Northern Ireland, you can also bring proceedings there. If you live elsewhere, you keep any rights your own country's law gives you.

15. Contact
